The ZJQ series air-cooled Roots vacuum pump is an improvement on the ZJ series Roots vacuum pump. It incorporates a bypass gas cooling system, which cools the rotor and pump chamber with air, enabling it to operate under high pressure differentials without generating high temperatures. A heat exchanger is typically installed in the pump's exhaust or return line. Exhaust gas is cooled by the heat exchanger and then enters the pump chamber from both sides of the pump body, cooling the rotor and pump chamber without affecting the pump's pumping performance. The pump can be used alone or in series to achieve higher vacuum levels and faster pumping speeds to meet process requirements.

It can be used alone, with a direct discharge to atmosphere operating vacuum level of up to 200 hPa.

The pump's internal moving parts are frictionless, requiring no lubrication, and the pump chamber is oil-free, ensuring a clean vacuum.

The three-lobe, plum blossom-shaped rotor design and high-precision machining ensure smooth and quiet operation.

Major performance indicators, such as pumping performance, noise, and vibration, are significantly improved compared to traditional two-lobe rotors.

The vertical gas flow within the pump chamber facilitates the removal of dust and condensate from the pumped gas.

The fully symmetrical and precisely dynamically balanced rotor ensures smooth operation.

Low vibration and noise – High-precision dynamic balancing technology, high-precision gears, and imported bearings.

Reduced oil leakage and emulsification – Utilization of shaft-mounted mechanical seals and a compartmentalized composite seal design.

An exhaust cooling heat exchanger is configured based on the motor power and pumped gas properties. This allows low-temperature gas to return to the pump chamber for cooling the pump chamber and rotor.

Can be used individually or in series to achieve higher operating vacuum levels and faster pumping rates.

Single-spec models are configured with motors and exhaust cooling heat exchangers based on the operating pressure differential.

Can be used in a variety of configurations: individually, in series, or combined with a backing pump to form a complete vacuum unit.
